Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. When you visit the site, the following information is collected automatically: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the request, and IP address.

Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in ensuring a stable, secure and functional operation of the website. Log files are processed solely for this purpose and are usually deleted automatically after seven days. No personal evaluation takes place.

A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with netcup. All processing takes place on servers located in Germany within the European Union.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. No tracking, analytics or marketing technologies are used. No third-party services are embedded.

Local storage

Two technically necessary values are stored in your browser's LocalStorage. They do not leave your device and are not transmitted to the server:

  • lr-lang: stores your chosen language (German or English) so that the correct language version appears on your next visit.
  • lr-cookie-ack: stores the one-time acknowledgement of the notice banner so it does not reappear.

Both entries qualify as strictly necessary under § 25 (2) (2) TDDDG and therefore do not require consent. You can delete the values at any time via your browser settings.

Fonts

The fonts used (Cormorant Garamond, Inter) are served locally from this website's server (self-hosted). There is no connection to Google Fonts or other external font services.

Email contact

If you contact me by email, the information you provide (email address, name where given, content of the message) is processed for the purpose of answering your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for general inquiries or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for initiating possible business relationships. The data is not shared with third parties and is deleted once the conversation has ended, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Images of people

This website shows photographs in which individuals may be identifiable. Publication takes place only with the explicit consent of the persons depicted in accordance with § 22 KUG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. The respective image will be removed without delay.

This website is a private, non-commercial artist site and does not fall under the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG). Nevertheless, it is voluntarily designed in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at level AA. Implemented measures include: semantic HTML5, keyboard-accessible gallery and lightbox, visible focus ring, skip link to main content, sufficient colour contrast, alternative text for every image in both languages, and respect for the system preference "reduce motion".
